CM winter

I will write about CM course winter! The new term has began!

It is difficult for me to deal with Evernotes. I want to know more about it in order to utilize it effectively. And I'm not sure about Google toolbar.

Today, we listened 3 presentations of useful functions and do some practice of using Dropbox and so on. It was fun!

I want to learn many things in this course! See you again! :)

October 6th

The first thing that we did in this class was to learn how to make a video. We took a video of our presentation screen with recording our voices. I was very surprised that we can take a video of the screen with our verbal explanation!!

The second thing was to divide CM1 class into several groups for group presentation. We will use the technique to take a video that we learned in this course.

I posted before, but I couldn't see the movie, so I post it again!

September 29th

What we learned this week is that how to take a video with Quick player, and how to use google maps. I was surprised that with google maps, I can see the picture of in front of my house.

I posted my movie. I was nervous to take it, but I'm very happy that I have made it.

CM class September 22th

On September 22th, we learned how to add other homepages to our Google Reader. First, we added other classmates' blogs. And after that, we added some pages like newspaper websites. Google Reader is very useful because it lets me know how many new blogs and articles are there. In other words, I can easily know the number of readings which I haven't read yet. I can also search articles with key words.

We also learned how to install the portable Firefox in our USB memory. I want to do some practice of using portable Firefox effectively.

These days, I often uses Zotero to stock sources for my ARW essay. Zotero is very useful because I don't have to copy neither URL nor the author's name. All I have to do is to click! In addition to this, Rikaichan helps me to understand unfamiliar words.
In CM class,I'm looking forward to learn more about how to make use of the computer.

15th September

What we did last week was to add addon to Firefox. For example, Zotero, Rikaichan, and so on. These system were very useful, so I am very happy to know how to deal with them!

Reflection 7th~11th

What we did this week is doing woeksheet about TOMATS and Checking draft of our essay.
It was really hard for me to finish my essay draft by Monday, because I could't find good sourse, but tutorial helped me to clarify my idea(^-^)

Also, we had a vote to decide what to do in next week. I really wanted to do some party, but majority support the preparation of P and D.(;-;) I 'm sad.

Anyway let's enjoy the last week of this class!!

Reflaction 1st~6th, June

In this week, What impressed me most is that we had a class with aother section,BF. We had a discussion, and the topic was about The Old Man and The Sea. It was really good chance to do the work with students who are in other section. I enjoyed it.

By the way, on the weekend, I saw movies about Palestine made by Doi Tosikuni at Meiji university. These films are non fiction and documentary which was recorded in both Israel and Palestine. I was really shocked to see this movie but I am happy because Ican know deeper. I want to know about the problem between the Israel and Palestine more, and think rationally.

What we did this week.
1, talking about essay (did work sheet)
2, fallacies (read "Eat out!" and discuss about fallacies)
3, TOMATS (how to write Journal)
4, How to write outline of essay

I started writing Journal about TOMATS. It is fun, but it takes me a long time! I should manege my time properly...."Eat out!" was about eating cockroaches!! I was really surprised at the topic. I still couldn't organize my idea about essay....Mmm...I will think about it deeper!! Good night☆

3. tutorial (I did it on Friday, but each member has different schedule)

6. Having a PWT about Meiland!!( before having it, we had a practice)

This week was C-week, so our class time was 10 minutes shorter than usual. It was nice!(^-^)My best memory of this week is having a class outside. The weather was fantastic! I had a good time.

Retreat!

We went to Nagano prefecture for retreat on 14, 15, May 2010. I had a really good time! I really enjoyed staying with my friends. I am going to reflect my retreat today.

We went to Nagano by bus.It took about 4 hours!! I sat next to Kei. I was really surprized at my seat first, because I never thought of sitting to my section mate. But I really enjoyed my bus time!

We separated into small groups and talked about the purpose for entering ICU and so on. I talked with professor Yashiro and other members of my group. It was a good opportunity to make new friends and rethink about my life at ICU.

I went to the session of Economics and Peace study. It was really interesting.
Dinner
Eriko and I were at the same group. I really enjoyed my dinner. We talked with professor Shimizu.
Free time!
I enjoyed my free time with BB members. We talked a lot, and did card games. I stayed late at night and went to bed at 5:30 am!! So the next day, I slept well at bus.

I still have a lot of memories , but there are so many that I can't write whole things. I want to go Retreat again, and next time I want to go with whole BB members. It would be more and more nice trip!

Reflection week3

Hi! I really enjoy my GW. How are you ,BB? I stay at my grand parents' house in Shizuoka now. I can see Mt Fuji from here. In week three, we rewrite summary and started writing discussion. We checked key points at Meiland(1-10~1-12) , and saw our summary each other in pair. We have to submit our ARP after GW.
I'm looking forward to see BB members again after GW. Have a nice holiday!!

Reflection on week 2

What we learned in week2 is how to write summery, and what is written in Meiland (1-4 - 1-10).We read 2 summary sumples and discussed about what is the difference between the summaries. About the Meiland, we discussed about a task in small groups. We are going to write summaries and discussions of Meiland Colledge Thinking (1-10~1-12) of our own next week.
